About LSBA

Welcome to the LSBA website. This site was designed to fulfill several association goals. First, and most importantly, the site will enable members of LSBA to maintain a closer relationship with our staff and become more familiar with our activities. It will also allow members to access many of our services on-line. If you own a small business in Louisiana and are not a LSBA member, please take a few minutes to review the site and consider joining the thousands of other LSBA members statewide.

Advocacy

Our lobbyists work to ensure that the interests of Louisiana's business community are taken into consideration while lawmakers deliberate issues important to all employers. We seek to provide lawmakers information throughout the year about the implications of their decisions on our small business members.

Education

Our goal is to provide you with timely information that will allow you to stay on top of laws and regulations that may impact your business. We seek to provide you with education that you cannot obtain from other trade association sources.

With our monthly newsletter Issues, you will receive practical information about current laws and proposed legislation. Our goal is to provide you with new information every month that you can use to improve the way you operate your business. Other information that we provide includes labor law posters, publications and guides on legal and business related issues important to all business owners.
