Workers' Comp Information
LUBA Workers' Comp was established by LUBA Association, a Louisiana nonprofit corporation, and was incorporated in 1990. The following year, LUBA Workers’ Comp began offering coverage to Louisiana employers.
Because of its longevity and reputation for stability, LUBA Workers' Comp has led successful efforts to modernize Louisiana’s workers’ compensation statutes and regulations.
Regardless of the industry environment, LUBA Workers’ Comp has grown by approximately 10% each year since its inception. In April 2001, LUBA Workers' Comp was selected as “Company of the Year” by the Baton Rouge Business Awards, sponsored by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report /Junior Achievement of Baton Rouge.
