As your small business resource in Baton Rouge, LUBA has developed several publications, posters, and other items that are designed to help our members comply with various state and federal regulations. In addition to our regular edition of Issues and Answers, these informative publications are provided free to you as a LUBA member:
- An Employer's Resource Guide to State Government
- Labor Law Poster-includes all required federal and state posters; one is provided free with each LUBA membership
- Family and Medical Leave Act Information and Poster (required only if your business has 50 or more employees)
- Right-to-Know Poster (required if your business handles toxic chemicals)
- "Wash Your Hands" Poster (required for restaurants in Louisiana)
- An Employer's Guide to Unemployment Compensation
- An Employer's Guide to Workers' Compensation
In addition to the above publications, LUBA has access to all copies of state laws and regulations that affect your business. Please e-mail the LUBA member services department to request any of the above publications. Don't forget to include your LUBA Association member number and your address with your request.
The above publications are available to the general public at the following rates:
Labor Law Poster
- $15 for members (plus tax & handling fees)
- $30 for non-members (plus tax & handling fees)
Two "Wash Your Hands" posters
- $10 for both members and non-members (plus tax & handling fees)
